Tottenham Hotspur moved into the semi-final of the Champions League this week.

Jose Mourinho has told Russia Today that he wouldn’t be surprised if Tottenham Hotspur won the Champions League – then did a u-turn completely.
Tottenham beat Manchester City on away goals in midweek to reach the semi-final of the competition for the first time.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will now face Ajax in the last four, while Liverpool and Barcelona will contest the other semi-final.
Whoever wins between those two will be favourites to go on and win the competition, but Mourinho, a two-time winner of the tournament himself, says that Spurs could win it – but then admitted that he would be surprised if the North Londoners went all the way.
“When you get to the semi-finals it’s even more, 25 per cent for each one. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ajax or Tottenham win the Champions League,” he told Russia Today.
“Okay, maybe I would be a little bit surprised, but I wouldn’t be in shock because they are in the semi-finals and one of them will go to the final and the final is a final, it’s one game.”
Pochettino’s side have proven that they have the pedigree to knock out a European superpower and neither Liverpool or Barcelona will be taking them lightly.
By the same token, Ajax, who have beaten Real Madrid and Juventus in the knockout phase so far, clearly have a bit about them and if Tottenham look past them, it’s a huge mistake.
