Jose Mourinho has praised Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips in The Sun.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager has said that Leeds star Phillips is a player who gives a team balance.
The AS Roma boss made the comments while looking ahead to the Euro 2020 game between England and Croatia today.
Mourinho believes that Leeds midfielder Phillips has to start for the Three Lions.
The Portuguese told The Sun: “For Sunday’s game, I would go with Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips to bring more stability.
“Phillips is someone who gives a team balance — you can’t play all your attacking players.”

Phillips is one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old does a brilliant job in protecting the back-four and can hold his own in the middle of the park.
Of course, you could argue that Phillips does not have any experience of playing in a major international competition.
However, Phillips has done well in arguably the toughest and most watched domestic league – the Premier League.
The Leeds star is used to playing at a very high level, and if he starts today, then he will do well.
Phillips made 28 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Leeds this past season.
The England international scored one goal and gave two assists in those games.
