Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester United 3-0 on Monday night.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho addressed the media today, ahead of his side’s vitally important clash with Burnley on Sunday, and fired shots back at the Tottenham fans, after the travelling support goaded the Portuguese at Old Trafford on Monday night, as quoted by the London Evening Standard.
Spurs were absolutely clinical against the Red Devils on Monday night, and ran out eventual 3-0 winners, with their fans aiming ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ chants in Mourinho’s direction.
The United manager appeared unfazed at the time, however, applauding the home fans after the game, and insisting that his side did enough to win the match.
Mourinho addressed the media during his pre-match press conference at Carrington today, and had a typically ruthless response to the Tottenham fans who goaded him earlier this week, as quoted by the London Evening Standard:

“They didn’t have that song when we beat them at Wembley a couple of months ago. A cup final they had a big dream to go to, a title they had a big dream to win, because they don’t win many. Of course they were not singing that then.”
Whilst Mourinho’s comments will surely be taken with a pinch of salt by the Spurs fans, there is nothing that the north Londoners will like more than to see their club win the Premier League title this year, and make the Portuguese eat his words in the process.
