Wolverhampton Wanderers recently won the race to sign Manchester United left-back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson on loan for the rest of the season.

The defender made his breakthrough at United last season due to injuries to Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo.

Despite impressing at Old Trafford the talented defender was due to find first-team opportunities hard to come by at United this season so has headed to Molineux to continue his trade for the time being.

But Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho insists he is still a fan of the player.

He is quoted as having this to say about the Wolves loanee by The Sun:

“I like Cameron very much but he is going to Wolves to play. These are the kind of decisions every club does.”

Wolves have certainly got themselves a talent.

The 20-year-old played 14 times under Louis van Gaal at United last term and will be hoping to make considerably more appearances as a Wolves player in the 2016-17 season.

United will no doubt be hoping that CBJ can have a good campaign at Molineux – hopefully one that can help the Championship club fight for promotion – and return to Old Trafford as a more rounded player and individual.
