The Reds won 4-0 at Anfield on what was another special European night for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
And Mourinho felt that Barcelona struggled to deal with the atmosphere that Liverpool supporters created.
He said: “The atmosphere is very difficult to cope with, especially when Liverpool attacks to that end. It’s the goal where they love to finish matches and where they love to finish matches second half.”
Liverpool scored their goals against Barca through Gini Wijnaldum and Divock Origi.
The pair, who rarely start for Liverpool, were unlikely heroes on the night – as Jurgen Klopp’s side booked their place in the final in Madrid.
Liverpool will now face the winners of Tottenham Hotspur’s clash with Ajax, as they look to deliver their first piece of silverware under Klopp’s regime.
