Jose Mourinho has taken to Instagram once again. This time, the former Chelsea boss has commented on his first year at Tottenham in brief fashion.
The 57-year-old posted the following:
The Portuguese coach was appointed as Mauricio Pochettino’s replacement on November 20th 2019, just one day after the Argentine was dismissed on November 19th.
Daniel Levy wasted no time in finding the ex-Southampton manager’s successor.
In his first 12 months as Spurs boss, Mourinho has done well to freshen up the squad, and achieve some excellent results.
He managed to salvage Tottenham’s season last term to secure a Europa League spot for the north Londoners, and this time around, it looks like he’ll surpass that achievement.

Spurs are currently sat second in the Premier League, just one point off the summit.
They have scored the second-highest amount of goals with 19 to their name, while Tottenham also boast the joint-best defence in England’s top-flight – no side has conceded fewer than their nine concessions.

Mourinho has Harry Kane and Heung-min Son firing on all cylinders, while his additions of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Sergio Reguilon and Matt Doherty have made a real difference to the team.
He’s done it before with Chelsea on three occasions, but can the ex-Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss secure Spurs a maiden Premier League title?
On the basis of his efforts so far this term, we’re not going to say no.
