Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has told Football.London that he has already informed the club that he would like to have Dennis Cirkin and Harvey White in his first team setup next season.

Spurs travel down to the South Coast to take on Bournemouth this evening, and Mourinho will be hoping for another win having beaten Everton 1-0 on Monday night.

It may not be the time to blood young players, as Spurs need to push for Champions League qualification, with the top five not out of reach.

However, it’s clear that Mourinho has high hopes for some young players. That much was clear when he named left back Cirkin on the bench against Everton ahead of Ryan Sessegnon.

The 18-year-old Irishman has been talked up by Mourinho for months now, and praised him again after naming on the bench on Monday.

Now, Mourinho has admitted that he trusts his young players and they can play at any time, with Cirkin and midfielder White picked out as players he likes.

Mourinho even added that he has told the club that he wants them in the first team setup next season, believing that training with senior players is crucial to their development.

“They can play because they’re good players and we trust the players. So at any time they can play,” said Mourinho. “Even in relation to Cirkin and Harvey White, I already told the club that I would like them to be with me next season in the first team squad.”

“It’s the easiest way for them to develop, it’s to train every day at the most demanding level. So we trust the kids and we’re going to develop the kids,” he added.

Cirkin could now be trusted as Ben Davies’s back up next season, with 18-year-old White offering Mourinho another homegrown option in the engine room alongside Harry Winks and Oliver Skipp.
