Jose Enrique has praised Tottenham striker Harry Kane and wished the ‘very underrated’ striker was at Liverpool, as he posted on his Instagram story.

The former left-back was reacting to Kane scoring his 50th goal for England on Tuesday night.

The Three Lions recorded a 1-1 draw against Germany in the UEFA Nations League in Munich, with Kane’s late penalty securing a much-needed point for his side.

Liverpool are seemingly looking for attackers this summer, especially with suggestions that Sadio Mane could head for the exit door.

Nonetheless, Enrique lauded Kane’s qualities and stated that the Spurs hitman has ‘everything’ in his game.

“Very underrated,” said Enrique. “Harry (Kane) sometimes, because he plays for Tottenham and didn’t win trophies.

“But, for me, one of the best strikers in the world. He has everything. I wish we had him at LFC.”

KANE SET TO SMASH WAYNE ROONEY’S ENGLAND RECORD

It’s taken Kane only 70 games to reach his half-century, which is a pretty remarkable strike rate from the 28-year-old.

To put that into context, Rooney scored his 53 goals from 120 matches, so it’s fair to say that record is going to get smashed.

If Kane can, with some much-needed luck, play 120 odd games for his country, then there is no doubt he will hit the 100 goals on the international stage.

At this stage of his career, whilst that sounds crazy, it’s all very possible because he is now at the peak of his powers.
