Jose Enrique has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the news that Liverpool will donate any fresh food prepared for today’s postponed match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool were supposed to take on Wolves at Anfield in the Premier League today.
However, that match, as well as other fixtures in the Premier League this weekend, have been postponed following the death of The Queen.
Liverpool will donate any fresh food prepared ahead of the match against Wolves to local community initiatives, and former Anfield star Enrique is pleased to hear the news.
As reported by The Liverpool Echo, Liverpool started donating food on Friday and will continue to do so today.

Regarding matters on the pitch, Liverpool have a lot to do.
The Reds are struggling in the Premier League at the moment and suffered a heavy defeat to Napoli in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
If next weekend’s Premier League fixtures are also postponed, then it would allow Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp more time to prepare his players and get them ready to resume playing club football after the International break.
