The new Sheffield Wednesday manager was unveiled to the media on Monday.

New Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay refused to be drawn on potential January transfers at his unveiling on Monday.
Wednesday look set to be without eight key players for Friday’s Steel City derby against Sheffield United, and had five Under-23 team players involved at Monday’s training session – Luhukay’s first since his appointment three days ago.
The Dutchman’s title – manager as opposed to head coach – has prompted suggestions that he could have more involvement in the Owls’ recruitment process than was afforded to his predecessor Carlos Carvalhal.

But when asked by BBC Radio Sheffield about the amount of control he will have, Luhukay replied: “We do it together.”
On whether he will look to recruit English-based players or those from overseas, he added: “At this moment we look only to the next game on Friday, and the next weeks and months and also for the future. You must always keep an eye in more directions. What happens will happen and we will try to do what’s best for the club.”

Sheffield Wednesday chairman Dejphon Chansiri had previously told reporters that Luhukay will have the final say over which players he would like to bring to Hillsborough, but added that the decision as to whether or not the club goes ahead with those deals will continue to rest with himself.
Luhukay is reported to have resigned from his previous role as manager of VFB Stuttgart due to a disagreement with sporting director Jan Schindelmeiser over signings [ESPN].
