Hutchinson has appeared for the Sheffield Wednesday’s first team since August.

Jos Luhukay has revealed that Sam Hutchinson could play for Sheffield Wednesday’s Under-23s on Monday.
Hutchinson last appeared for the Owls’ first team in August and has not been seen since second-string’s fixture against Crewe Alexandra more than two months ago.
He is one of several players understood to have been exiled by Luhukay in recent months, despite being seemingly fit to play.
But unlike his contemporaries, Keiren Westwood and George Boyd, Hutchinson was not recalled for the U23s’ most recent fixture, also against Crewe, on Monday.
Discussing the fan favourite’s absence via Sheffield Wednesday’s official Facebook page on Friday, Luhukay said: “He was ill in the first days of the week, but it is possible maybe that Sam is playing (for the U23s) Monday.
“We must look (at who else could play). I must speak with Neil Thompson. You can only play three players over 23. We have Joost van Aken, we have George Boyd, we have Almen Abdi, we have Sam Hutchinson. We must look at the positions (that Thompson has) with his young players and in the combination with our older players to find a team he can work with.”

One Sheffield Wednesday player not mentioned by Luhukay is Sam Winnall, whose return was initially pencilled in for this month.
Winnall posted a seemingly positive, yet cryptic, update on Instagram last week.
But it would appear that he is not yet ready to return.
