Speaking to TeamTalk, Graeme Bailey has shared some insight from within the Arsenal camp about how those within the club feel about the Gunners’ title chances.
Arsenal are currently leading the title race, but there is still some hesitancy within the wider footballing world to discuss the north London club as title contenders.
Indeed, Gary Neville still seems to think Arsenal will finish third, and others believe that they will fall off in the second-half of the season.
However, according to Bailey, those within the club firmly believe that the league is now there to be won, and, perhaps most importantly, new signing Jorginho also believes that the Gunners have a real chance of winning the league.

Jorginho thinks Arsenal can win it
Bailey shared what he knows about the mindset within Arsenal.
“Whilst at the start of the season a title charge was not on the agenda, I am told within the club they firmly believe that the title is there to be won and they know that chance may not be available to them like this in a very long time.
“I believe Arteta is embracing this challenge. He does not see it is a pressure but is excited by the opportunity – this is his chance, as well as Arsenal’s to really make a mark.
“And the belief he has got from the Jorginho deal can’t be underestimated. He wanted this, and the club no questions asked have backed him.
“Jorginho knows he has the chance to claim a Premier League winner’s medal – something that he was never able to achieve at Chelsea.
“He wants this and his talent and experience could very well give them the momentum to get them over the line come May.”
Every chance
Jorginho thinks Arsenal can win the Premier League, and he’s not wrong.
The Gunners have started this season as well as any other team in history have.
On average, a Premier League winner will pick up 87 points, Arsenal just need to win 12 games and draw one more to reach that mark.
