Arsenal face Everton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, and they head into this game as heavy favourites.
The Gunners have lost just one league game all season and are riding the crest of a wave at the moment.
Meanwhile, Everton are struggling down the bottom-end of the league table and won’t fancy their chances of beating the Gunners.
However, after appointing Sean Dyche, there could be a bit of a new manager bounce at Goodison Park, so Arsenal will need to be switched on here.
With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Mikel Arteta’s starting XI for this one.
Starting between the sticks, Aaron Ramsdale will of course keep his spot as Arsenal’s first choice goalkeeper.
At the back, Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba are likely to be partnered in the centre-back spots, with Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko occupying the full-back roles. White has been in top form for the Gunners this season since adopting his new right-back role and he’ll continue to star here.
In the heart of midfield, Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka are likely to be paired together. Jorginho did sign for the north London club on deadline day, but he doesn’t get the nod this time.
In the attack, Bukayo Saka is expected to start on the right-wing, with Martin Odegaard through the middle and Gabriel Martinelli on the left.
Saka and Odegaard have been two of the best players in the league this term, and Everton will have to come up with a plan to stop them if they’re going to win here.
Finally, Eddie Nketiah leads the line. The young striker has been in fine form in recent weeks, and will continue to be picked here.
On paper, Arsenal should breeze past Everton, but as we know all too well, football doesn’t always follow the script.
