Jorge Mas has refused to rule out Inter Miami signing Luis Suarez, with reports emerging today that the MLS franchise are interested in signing the former FC Barcelona star.
Speaking to journalist Franco Panizo, the official teased that Inter Miami would be interested in Suarez if he left Gremio, with Mas saying: “Luis is a Gremio player, he has a contract with Gremio, and that is a matter between Luis and Gremio. If he were to become free of his contract, he is someone we could be interested in.”
With Inter Miami already signing Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, adding Suarez would be quite the coup for Tata Martino’s side, especially with Jordi Alba also reportedly on his way to Miami later this month having also left Barcelona this summer.
Indeed, Suarez is one of the best strikers soccer has seen this century. And if the South American forward was to bring his talents to Inter Miami, there’s no telling how far the Florida-based franchise can go with Messi and friends at the helm.
Suarez to Inter Miami could be another MLS game-changer

Inter Miami are stacked with attacking talent with Messi now joining the fold this week. Yet adding Suarez would be borderline illegal for Martino, who could get the best out of the Uruguayan superstar in what could be his last major career move.
As soccer fans will know, Messi and Suarez worked wonders together during their Barcelona years. And the striker could add a lot of forward quality to Inter Miami heading into the final matches of the 2023 MLS season, with playoffs not totally out of the question.
