Rangers produced a stellar performance to beat Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League Round of 16 to win 4-2 in Germany – and Jorg Albertz and Michael Beale have reacted on Instagram with a seven-word verdict immediately after.
Gio van Bronckhorst’s side came into the match as massive underdogs against Marco Rose’s men – but the tune of the full-time whistle signalled one of the best results in the history of the club’s European travels.

Rangers took the lead – Dan-Axel Zagadou handling and after VAR, James Tavernier scored the penalty. It was 2-0 moments later, Alfredo Morelos bundling home from close range. The third was soon after half-time.
A delightful bit of skill from Ryan Kent saw the ex-Liverpool man lay off John Lundstram, who swept home a gorgeous left-footed effort. Jude Bellingham scored for Dortmund, but it was four not long after.
An own goal from Zagadou, who ended the match with an own goal, penalty against him and missing a glorious chance in the first half, made it 4-1. Raphael Guerriero got the sixth and final goal of the match.
But a brilliant display from Rangers saw the Gers take a two-goal lead to Ibrox. The Gers thoroughly deserved their win, and the return of Ryan Jack in midfield seemed to prove absolutely crucial to stopping Dortmund.
A simply stunning performance from Rangers, that also saw January recruits Aaron Ramsey and James Sands come off the bench. Albertz posted a seven-word reaction on Instagram, while Beale posted on his story.
