Jordyn Woods’ lucky bag seemingly played a role in the New York Knicks’ historic NBA title.

For most fans, the likes of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns played crucial roles in ending the New York Knicks’ 53-year NBA Championship drought.

Some may say that head coach Mike Brown deserves equal credit. But a lot of fans seemingly believe that it was Towns’ fiancee Jordyn Woods’ orange bag that brought good luck to the Knicks.

Jordyn Woods’ orange bag to be on display at the Guggenheim

According to an Instagram post by the Guggenheim Museum, Woods’ now-iconic orange bag has been put on display.

“A courtside icon is coming our way,” the caption revealed.

The fashion designer’s bag will stay on display at the museum for the next five days, starting from June 24, 2026.

Woods featured in the clip and explained how much New York City means to her. Evidently, she has no problem in lending her bag to the museum for that exact reason.

How Jordyn Woods’ orange bag became lucky for the New York Knicks

Without a well-built roster, the Knicks would have never reached the NBA Finals, let alone end their championship drought.

But apparently, it was Woods’ orange clutch bag that brought luck to the team and helped them win an NBA Championship for the first time since 1973.

After all, Woods carried the bag in almost every game during the Knicks’ sensational playoff run. The most notable game where she left it at home? Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden.

Yes, the only game with a strict no-bag policy was due to Donald Trump’s attendance. And the result? It was the only game that the Knicks lost at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs in the finals.

So, the belief in the orange bag’s luck only increased after that heartbreaking loss for the Knicks, as Woods held it with her until her fiance’s team was crowned NBA champions after Game 5.
