Liverpool youngster has joined Rochdale.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Williams has left the club after his contract expired.
He has signed for League One side Rochdale, where he spent time this season out on loan.
Williams spoke to Rochdale’s club website yesterday and said he feels it is time for him to move on.

Williams said that he did not see a logical chance of a breakthrough at Anfield.
He said: “I’ve had a great time at Liverpool – I loved every minute of it, but I just think now is the right time to move on and get some league games under my belt.”
Discussing choosing Rochdale he added: “I feel as though I’ve got unfinished business here. I had interest from elsewhere, but as soon as Keith Hill got on the phone to me, there was no other club that I wanted to go to.”

Wiliams turns 23 in November and his time at academy level had simply ran out, and it would have been a detriment to his development for him to stay.
Injury set back his progress and it has been a shame after he showed promise after being given a chance under Brendan Rodgers, but it never really worked out for him after Jurgen Klopp took over.
Williams featured at Anfield in the League Cup against Middlesbrough in 2014 and scored in the penalty shootout, but that was his one and only first team appearance for the Reds.
