Rangers left it late – very late – but they managed to kick off their Premiership campaign with a victory.

Steven Gerrard’s side looked set to draw 1-1 at Kilmarnock on the opening weekend of the new season after Stephen O’Donnell scored on 83 minutes to cancel out Scott Arfield’s first-half equaliser for the Gers.

But big centre-back Connor Goldson popped up with a last-minute goal to ensure Rangers got off to a winning start.
