Jordan Rossiter appears to be on the mend for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.

Jordan Rossiter was among the Rangers stars who beat a Brentford B team at Ibrox on Sunday.

The Rangers midfielder, who earns £10,000 per week in Glasgow [Daily Mail], played for 74 minutes as a Gers XI beat the English side 3-2 yesterday.

Rossiter, who has endured an injury-hit two years in Scotland, also featured for Rangers’ senior side in the win at St Mirren 24 hours prior to the Brentford win.

Given his injury problems, it seems like the 21-year-old, who played 82 minutes of the win at Hamilton last month, is staying fit for the time being and his game yesterday is another big step in the right direction.

Rossiter was one of a few first-team players who faced the Bees, with Nikola Katic, Ross McCrorie and Gareth McAuley also turning out.

It remains to be seen if manager Steven Gerrard – present at Ibrox yesterday – brings the former Liverpool talent to Russia for this week’s Europa League trip to Spartak Moscow.

Stephen Kelly scored twice in the victory, while Dapo Mebude netted a late winner for Rangers.
