Jordan Rossiter was given a rare chance for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers on Sunday.

Jordan Rossiter has suggested to Rangers TV that he might not have justified Steven Gerrard’s faith in him yesterday.
The 21-year-old midfielder played 90 minutes as Rangers drew 1-1 away to Dundee, who had 10 men for some 71 minutes of Sunday’s stalemate.
Prior to yesterday, Rossiter had only played three minutes for the Gers during the past weeks, but the former Liverpool talent, who once played alongside Gerrard, has hinted that he might’ve let down the Ibrox manager with his performance.
He told Rangers TV: “It’s frustrating you know. I haven’t had many chances, but I’ve been working hard and waiting patiently.
“The gaffer gave me a chance today and I don’t know whether I took it to be honest with you.”
Rossiter, who earns £10,000 per week in Glasgow [Daily Mail], didn’t have a stormer, but he wasn’t Rangers’ worst player by any stretch of the imagination.
He is never going to be at the peak of his powers while he is only starting one senior game every six weeks. It’s not enough and if Gerrard wants to see the best of him then more minutes are needed – and a lot more regularly.
This is a player who made less than 10 appearances during his first two seasons at Rangers due to injury. He is a class player and, if given regular chances, he will prove as much.
