Jordan Rhodes has scored three goals in 10 matches for Sheffield Wednesday since signing.
Jordan Rhodes has told the Sheffield Telegraph that he is really enjoying life at Sheffield Wednesday.
Rhodes moved to Wednesday during the January transfer window on loan from Middlesbrough until the end of the season.
The striker is then set to make his switch to Hillsborough permanent in the summer for a fee of £10 million.
And Rhodes says that he is looking forward to getting fully settled at Wednesday next season.
The Scotland international said: “I am really enjoying being part of the club.
“The staff and the fans are fantastic and really welcoming. I am really enjoying my football at the moment.
“It is a fantastic area and one I am looking forward to settling into.
“It is a shame these last three games haven’t gone as well as we would have hoped but, again, we have to look at the bigger picture.”
Rhodes has made 10 appearances for Wednesday to date, scoring on three occasions.
The 27-year-old has been a regular starter for Carlos Carvalhal’s side since joining, but he is yet to hit top form.
Rhodes has failed to score in any of his last three outings for Wednesday, with the Owls’ form taking a turn for the worse.
Wednesday have only won once in their last six matches, with the Yorkshire side’s play off place now coming under pressure.
Carvalhal’s men are currently in sixth place in the Championship table, with their next match coming against Barnsley.
