Everton have conceded six goals from set pieces already under Marco Silva’s stewardship.

Everton were once again undone by a dead ball situation in their last match against Huddersfield Town, which has been a worrying trend from Silva’s first few matches in charge.
Everton have conceded seven times this season, and six of these goals have come from either corners of free kicks.
Silva has opted to go with a zonal marking system, but Everton have struggled to keep goals out from dead balls situations.
And Pickford has suggested that Everton are concentrating more on attacking set-pieces than defensive ones in training.
“He (Silva) is massive on offensive set-plays too and we have scored a couple of goals that way,” Pickford said. “If we can keep scoring and stop conceding, that’s how you win games.
“We will work hard on the training ground when we get back from international duty.”

Everton could only manage a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield in their latest outing, in what was a disappointing result.
Although there has been signs of encouragement on display under Silva so far, the Toffees have not made the most of their relatively friendly opening few fixtures.
Everton are next in action after the international break, when they take on West Ham United.
