It looks like Rangers winger Jordan Jones is on the mend.

The 25-year-old winger posted a photo of himself on Twitter this morning and it appears as if he’s back in training.

Jones, who arrived at Rangers this past summer, has been absent since early September after suffering a knee injury in the 2-0 defeat by Celtic at Ibrox.

Ironically, the Northern Ireland international suffered the problem in a tackle that he made, which eared him a red card.

But it seems like he’s on the comeback trail after the light Blues star posted a training image on social media, and here’s how fans of the Scottish giants reacted on Twitter:

The sooner Jones is back, the better.

Within days of the red card and injury, Rangers went and signed Ryan Kent, a player who will keep the former Kilmarnock star on the bench for most of this season, with both being left-sided attackers.

But Kent isn’t 100 percent fit after he suffered an injury on his second debut for Steven Gerrard’s side, while Brandon Barker, another left winger, has had a stop-start time of it since moving this summer.

Gerrard warned Jones that he has everything to do to get back in his plans [Belfast Telegraph] after the double whammy of being injured and sent off in the Old Firm but, if Barker is out of the frame, it might make it easier.
