Jordan Henderson has shared what Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp text him after England were drawn against Germany at Euro 2020.
Henderson and Klopp are of course very close due to their mutual connection to Liverpool, but when it comes to their national teams all allegiances go out of the window.
Klopp sent Henderosn a message as soon as the clash between the two international rivals was confirmed.
What’s been said?
Henderson was speaking about Klopp, before sharing what he text him after Germany’s draw with Hungary on Wednesday.
“Yeah, the gaffer at Liverpool has been very influential,” Henderson said.
“The charisma he has got, a lot of people love him even if you’re a neutral fan. He’s had a big part [to play] in English football in the Premier League.”
“As soon as the final whistle went he just sent me a smiley face emoji.”

Typical Klopp
What else was Klopp going to be sending?
It would be interesting to hear what Klopp thinks about this England vs Germany clash and if there’s any part of him hoping for a Three Lions victory.
Of course, Klopp has his Germany allegiances due to the fact that’s where he’s from, but he’s been living in England for five years and a number of his Liverpool players are England internationals, including Henderson.
We’re sure that Henderson will have a text lined up to send back to Klopp if England manage to beat Germany next Tuesday.
