Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League table.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has refused to be drawn on comparisons between this team and the one that nearly won the title under Brendan Rodgers.
The Reds were in emphatic form on Sunday afternoon as they beat Watford 6-1 at Anfield.
The result continued their fine start to the season and moved them to the top of the Premier League, one point ahead of Chelsea in second place.

Their fine form has sparked belief that they will be genuine title contenders under Jurgen Klopp this season.
Naturally, comparisons to the Liverpool team that finished second in 2013/14 are being drawn but Henderson refuses to make them.
“I don’t like comparing, the past is the past,” he told BBC Sport.
“This is a very good team with good players but you don’t win anything for being top in November. I know it is boring to hear but we are taking each game as it comes and keeping the momentum going.”

If Liverpool are to be genuine title contenders this season then drastic improvement in defence will be needed moving forward.
They have conceded 14 goals in their 11 games this season, the most of any of the top eight sides in the division.
The team that came second finished with the worst record in the top six and the Reds will be keen to avoid repeating history if the Premier League trophy is to end up at Anfield.
