Liverpool got back to winning ways on Sunday night, beating Sheffield United 2-0 at Bramall Lane.
The Reds have been in poor Premier League form of late, and had lost four straight league games heading into last night’s game.
A frustrating first half may have left many fearing the worst, but Liverpool did take the lead as Curtis Jones fired the opener.
Roberto Firmino added a second, though that goal may now go down as a Kean Bryan own goal following a huge deflection.
Liverpool will hope to string together some results off the back of this win, which was an emotional one for the Reds.
Alisson missed the game having sadly lost his father earlier this week, and both Jones and Adrian sent heartfelt messages to the Brazilian, telling him that the win was for him and his family at this tough time.

Elsewhere, Ozan Kabak celebrated a first Premier League win with Liverpool, whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold called it a ‘perfect Sunday’ thanks to a win and a clean sheet.
The injured Jordan Henderson praised his teammates for their victory as he missed out, whilst Thiago Alcantara posted that the win was ‘a good one’.
