Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has labelled Kyle Walker as the fastest player in the England team.
When speaking on the Lions Den, which was broadcast on England’s official Youtube channel, he said that Walker was quicker than any other player in the Three Lions’ squad.
The Liverpool midfielder had actually proven his pace recently, as he beat Jadon Sancho is a sprint drill.
However, Henderson admits that he isn’t anywhere near as quick as Walker, who beats him to that honour.
“I’d say the fastest player would be Walks,” Henderson said.
“He’s powerful and very quick over any distance. I’ve got to give it to him. He doesn’t get tired.”
Henderson and Walker have actually been locked in battle in the Premier League over recent years, but are now working together with England.

Liverpool and Manchester City have been the two teams competing for most domestic honours of late, although Jurgen Klopp’s side fell away this season.
Walker still labelled Liverpool a ‘fantastic’ team on Bleacher Report, though.
Walker played in England’s first game at the tournament, but Henderson is still looking to work his way back to full fitness.
England’s next game comes against Scotland on Friday, when both Henderson’s and Walker’s experience could be key.
