Henderson had injury concerns coming into the European Championship.
Leeds United’s Kalvin Phillips and Declan Rice of West Ham United have made themselves pretty much undroppable from the England midfield right now.

Henderson is a senior player in head coach Gareth Southgate’s squad, but the midfielder is unlikely to start against Denmark in the semi-finals.
However, Henderson – who has been on the books of Liverpool since the summer of 2011 when he joined from Sunderland for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £20 million – is a very good option to have on the substitutes’ bench.
