Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seems to be bossing it in Liverpool training these days.

Jordan Henderson has told Liverpool’s official website that a certain Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been ripping it up in training as of late.
The former Arsenal winger has only managed 20 minutes of senior football for the Reds in 15 months after suffering a knee injury in April of 2018.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, a £40 million addition by Liverpool nearly two years ago [The Guardian], is now fit and has been a regular for Jurgen Klopp in a few pre-season outings so far.
The England international will be desperate to make up for lost time this season and, according to his captain Henderson, the ‘powerful’ Liverpool midfielder could be like a ‘new signing’ for the European champions.
He told the club’s official website: “He was always positive, always happy around the team, always there to support us when we needed him. He was a massive part for us off the field and this season I hope he’s a massive part on the field as well.
“I hope he can just show everybody what he’s capable of, like he did before he got injured. He’s looked so strong, so good in training. He’s like a new signing for us, he’s such a fantastic player, so powerful, and he gives us something different in this team.”
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s injury came at a really bad time for him and Liverpool.
The 25-year-old, who turns 26 in a month, had a trying first half-a-season on Merseyside after quitting the Gunners, but he was exceptional from January onward and played a big role in Klopp’s side reaching the Champions League final, where they lost to Real Madrid.
He was already injured at that point, and that will have hurt him so it’ll be interesting to see if the Southampton product can rediscover his best form from here on in.
