Paris Saint-Germain head coach Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson, according to The Athletic.
What’s the story?
It is being reported by The Athletic this morning that PSG head coach Pochettino is an admirer of Liverpool star Henderson.
The former Tottenham Hotspur head coach is closely monitoring development on the future of the England international midfielder.
Henderson has entered the final two years of his contract at Liverpool.
Talks over an extension have taken place, but no progress has been made, although discussions are still going on.

Should Liverpool fans worry?
Liverpool fans need not worry about Henderson’s future right now.
There is absolutely no change that the Reds will sell the England international midfielder – who has been on the books of Liverpool since 2011 when he joined from Sunderland for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £20 million – this summer.
Talks over new contracts take time, and you have to remember that Henderson still has two years left on his current deal.
Henderson has been superb for Liverpool over the years and has helped them win the Premier League and the Champions League.
The Liverpool no.14 made 20 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League last season.
The 31-year-old also made four starts and two substitute appearances in the Champions League for the Reds.
