Jordan Henderson hasn’t been treated well by Liverpool fans this season.

It has been a rocky start to the season for Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.
The 27-year-old was criticised by Liverpool fans for his performances in the 3-3 draw with Watford and the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace as the Reds endured a mix start to the season.
But the former Sunderland midfielder proved in Wednesday’s 4-2 win over Hoffenheim that he can be a major player for Jurgen Klopp this season, despite what some supporters think.

For 90 minutes, Henderson was brilliant against the Germans. On the ball, he picked the right passes and made the right decision more often than not. Off it, his pressing was superb, forcing the Bundesliga outfit into mistakes.
Perhaps for the first time, Klopp’s vision of Emre Can and Henderson in midfield looked a very promising one, the duo compimenting each other perfectly.

And if the pair can build on their growing understanding between one another then it will go a long, long way to helping Liverpool enjoy a very decent season.
Henderson is class and his performance last week was a reminder of his ability. Liverpool fans shouldn’t be so quick to castigate next time.
