The Wolves winger will face a battle to play regularly with Costa at the club.
Wolverhampton Wanderers broke their transfer record this week to bring in Portuguese winger Helder Costa on a permanent deal.
The 23-year-old joined Wolves at the start of the season on a season-long loan deal from Benfica and a fee of £13 million has made that move permanent – according to the BBC.
Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Helder Costa in action with Liverpool’s Ben Woodburn and Oviemuno Ejaria
He has been magnificent for Wolves this season and has only got better since Paul Lambert’s arrival at the club. He was pivotal in their recent FA Cup upset against Liverpool and Wolves will be pleased they have managed to tie him down permanently.
It has even excited a player Costa may keep out of the first-team.
Jordan Graham sent out this tweet this week, clearly over the moon Costa has joined the club:
The winger himself has been out of action since suffering knee ligament damage back in January of last year but is now building himself back to full fitness.
He will face a fight getting back into the Wolves first-team when he does, but the prospect of facing both Costa and Graham will no doubt put the fear of god in many a Championship full-back.
