The Wolverhampton man hailed the new Leeds United striker.
Kemar Roofe joined Leeds United from Oxford United this afternoon.
The highly-rated 23-year-old signed a four-year deal with the Whites to become Garry Monk’s sixth signing of the summer – and second of the day, after Matt Grimes joined on a season-long loan from Swansea City this morning.
Roofe, who won League Two’s Player of the Year last season, netted 22 goals in all competitions for Oxford, helping the U’s win promotion into League One in the process.
Leeds manager Monk has certainly added plenty of firepower, having already brought Marcus Antonsson to Elland Road.
Fans of the Yorkshire club are delighted with Roofe’s arrival; as is Wolverhampton Wanderers man Jordan Graham, who urged his “brother” to show the Championship what he’s made of next term.
Both could come up against each other on October 22 when Leeds travel to Molineux in the Championship.
In addition to Roofe and Antonsson, Leeds have also signed Kyle Bartley, Hadi Sacko and Robert Green this summer, as well as welcoming James Beattie to the coaching staff.
