The Leeds United player, currently on loan at Charlton Athletic, scored a blinder this week.

Leeds United winger Jordan Botaka has taken to Twitter to celebrate his country’s qualification for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The DR Congo international scored one and set up another in a 4-1 victory against Central African Republic and now Botaka can look forward to the tournament which kicks off in January.

The 23-year-old is currently on loan at League One side Charlton Athletic but he is yet to start and spent the last two matches prior to the international break as an unused substitute.
Botaka arrived at Leeds with an impressive highlights reel, yet for all his tricks and flicks he lacked the consistency to succeed in the Championship, at least initially.

After slipping out of favour under former Leeds manager Steve Evans, Botaka earned a recall prior to his dismissal. However new boss Garry Monk opted to send the wide man out on loan in a bid to improve his game.
Taking to social media after his superb solo effort for his country sealed a fine win, Botaka wrote, “Happy to be qualified for the AFCON 2017 with my country Congo DR. Great win; happy with my goal and assist.”
