The Frenchman has been consistently linked with a move away from Aston Villa.
Aston Villa picked up an important and hard-fought win against QPR in the Championship at the weekend – taking a 1-0 win courtesy of a goal from Jonathan Kodjia.
It was a great result for Villa who looked like they may end up empty-handed from their efforts in the fixture, but eventually did snatch the win.

One man who certainly caught the eye with his performance was Aston Villa left-back Jordan Amavi.
The Frenchman put in an excellent performance at left-back to continue winning over the Villa fans.
He certainly seemed to enjoy the acclaim as well.

Amavi, who missed much of last season with a knee injury, has been in great form recently and has often been linked with a move away from Villa since their relegation to the Championship.
Most recently Everton have been linked with his signature, with La Provence reporting that Everton and Marseille were interested in making a move for the player this winter.
But right now it appears Amavi has some making up to do at Villa Park.
