Jordan Amavi is pleased with the support of the Aston Villa fans.

Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi has told The Birmingham Mail that he is pleased with the club’s fans.
The 22-year-old left-back has said that he is happy with the support that the Villa fans have given him.
The Frenchman started a league game for the Villans for the first time in nine months when he featured against Ipswich Town away from home at the weekend.
Amavi started the Championship game at Portman Road on Saturday afternoon and played for 67 minutes, as the Villans played out a goalless draw with Ipswich.

The youngster, who joined Villa from French club Nice in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Star to be worth £9 million, has thanked the club’s fans for their supporters.
“I’m very happy I was given the opportunity to start,” Amavi told The Birmingham Mail. “It’s a good thing for me after such a long time out.
“It’s good to play games as all football players want to play games. I’m very pleased, proud and happy to be at this club.
“The supporters showed and continue to show me love. I’m fully focused and concentrating on the project and getting this club back to where it is supposed to be.”

Villa are 18th in the Championship table at the moment with eight points from as many matches.
Roberto Di Matteo’s side, who are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season, are currently just three points above the relegation zone.
The Villans will take on Newcastle United at Villa Park in the Championship on Saturday evening.
