The Aston Villa defender is very happy with the presence of his new manager.
Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi has commented on the impact Steve Bruce has had since taking over at the club.
The French left-back has been in good form recently under the management of Bruce, as have many of the players who were not thriving under the guidance of Roberto Di Matteo.

But Amavi insists that the Italian was not a bad manager but admits the players at Villa Park have reacted well to the appointment of Bruce. He told SoFoot:
“I do not know. Roberto Di Matteo was a good coach too. Here we are in a good reaction from Steve Bruce is there.
“A click, the psychological shock? I still had four coaches in a year … I hope that we will continue this momentum.”

He also made it clear that Bruce knew how to have a laugh in training with the club. However, when things go wrong on the day, he admits that Bruce can have a fiery temper:
“Steve Bruce emerges much authority, he has tightened the bolts. With him, to walk right, but it’s someone who likes a laugh in training. But not on game day, if it is wrong, he yells!”
Bruce is certainly turning things around at Villa.
Aston Villa Manager Roberto Di Matteo applauds their fans
He is still unbeaten as Villa manager and has guided he club easily away from the relegation zone.
Now they are currently sitting in 11th place in the Championship table and are just four points off the play-off places at present – with hopes of making an immediate return to the Premier League after last season’s dismal performance.
With Amavi in form and Bruce shouting the odds they will certainly have a chance.
