The Sheffield Wednesday defender looks to be on the road to recovery.

Sheffield Wednesday could be boosted by the return of yet another injured player in the coming weeks.
The Owls had mid- and long-term absentees Sam Hutchinson and Sam Winnall back in action on Friday, with both players starting – the latter scoring – in the Under-23s’ win against Crewe.
And Joost van Aken could be next to feature for Wednesday’s second string, after being spotted back in training on Wednesday.
The £4 million centre-back was injured during Sheffield Wednesday’s 2-0 EFL Cup win at Sunderland in August and was deemed by manager Jos Luhukay at the start of October to be a “few weeks” away from being able to train.
And it seems, from the following gallery on the Owls’ official website, Luhukay’s assessment was accurate.
Earlier this week, Van Aken posted cryptically the words “keep moving forward” on his Instagram page.
The 24-year-old does however face tough competition from Michael Hector, Tom Lees, Daniel Pudil and Jordan Thorniley for a place in Sheffield Wednesday’s starting eleven.
Neither Marco Matias, Almen Abdi, Kieran Lee nor Gary Hooper appear in the gallery, having been out for varying periods of time.
