Maryan Shved could surely kill Jonny Hayes’s hopes of ever turning it around at Celtic.

Most Celtic fans wouldn’t disagree in saying that Jonny Hayes hasn’t been a brilliant signing.
In fact, the Irishman, who cost £1.3 million in the summer of 2017, has only managed 22 appearances for the Hoops since joining from Aberdeen, and therefore has been a bad signing.
He has a mammoth task in rebuilding his Celtic career and getting regular football. He is, for all intents and purposes, finished at Parkhead, but if Brendan Rodgers signs Maryan Shved.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rodgers has been offered the £2 million winger, who plays on the right-hand side of attack.
Hayes can play on both wings but let’s look at his competition, on both sides: Scott Sinclair, Oliver Burke, James Forrest, Lewis Morgan, Michael Johnston and Daniel Arzani, who is injured.
That is six players more likely to get a game on the wing than Hayes at the moment and if Shved comes then it’s probably the final nail, all things considered.
He is by no means a bad player, evident by the fact that he was the only non-Celtic man in the running for Player of the Year a couple of seasons back, but the step up to the Bhoys has proven too big for him.
Injuries haven’t helped to be fair, but for the most part he has been out of his depth and a deal for Shved would surely kill his chances of ever proving otherwise.
