Scott Brown reiterated his importance for Celtic last weekend.

Jonny Hayes has told Celtic TV that Scott Brown’s performance at Ibrox on Sunday was a reminder that he’s the best midfielder in Scotland.
Brown skippered the Hoops to a 2-0 win at Rangers last weekend, making a mockery of the Gers’ pre-match favourites label.
It was a vintage midfield display from the 34-year-old Celtic star who, like a number of Neil Lennon’s squad, hadn’t looked at his best earlier in the season.
The Irish winger, who made it 2-0 with his first goal at Rangers, told Celtic TV: “If anything goes bad at the football club, it’s normally the manager and the captain that get it.
“I’m delighted because Browny proved he’s still the best midfielder in Scotland by a country mile.”
What a player Brown has been for Celtic since a £4.4 million move from Hibernian 12 years ago [The Guardian].
The former Scotland captain has led the club to three successive domestic trebles, meaning that he has won 19 major honours at Parkhead.
He is undeniably a Celtic great and, better yet, he is nowhere near finished yet, as he proved on Sunday.
Lennon’s side have a 100 percent record so far in their bid for ninth successive Premiership title, winning four games from four.
