Leeds United are said to be interested in signing the Aston Villa forward.

Jonathan Kodjia would be a huge upgrade for Leeds United, after a season with Pierre-Michel Lasogga leading the line for them.
If Leeds could bring Kodjia to Elland Road it would be a hugely exciting transfer, as the Ivorian international has so much quality.

Leeds fans were forced to watch the laborious Lasogga last term, but Kodjia could hardly be different.
While Lasogga did have his strengths, and was a clinical finisher, his lack of mobility was a major frustration.
With Kodjia up top Leeds would have no such worries, and his goalscoring record at Championship level is also highly credible.

Despite not always playing as an outright number nine, Kodjia has racked up 19 goals on two separate Championship seasons.
And if Leeds can bring in the 28-year-old from Villa, then he would be a wonderful addition to Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.
