The Ivorian struggled for chances in a tough game for Villa against Burton.
Aston Villa picked up a tough three points against Burton Albion this weekend, claiming a 2-1 wn at Villa Park.
It was certainly not vintage football from Steve Bruce’s men but it proved enough for all three points in the end.

Leandro Bacuna had given Aston Villa the lead in the 15th minute, before former Villa youngster Jamie Ward scored a stunning bicycle kick to level things. Ross McCormack then scored a late winner in what was a scrappy win for Bruce and Villa.
After the game some of the Villa players took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the game.
One man who summed it up nicely was Ivorian Jonathan Kodjia. The striker, who rightly had a goal disallowed in the game, posted this tweet describing the game well:

Next up for Villa is Leeds United in the Championship, a game they will need to be at their best for considering their opponents current form.
If they play like they did yesterday, then victory is unlikely.
