Aston Villa forward Jonathan Kodjia has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Villa returned to winning ways on Saturday evening with a 2-1 victory over Forest at Villa Park in the Championship.

Albert Adomah put the Villans in the lead in the 15th minute, and Daryl Murphy restored parity for Mark Warburton’s team seven minutes into the second half.

The home team picked up all three points from the encounter courtesy of the winning goal from Conor Hourihane on the hour mark.

Kodjia started the match and played for 79 minutes, and the forward has expressed his delight at Villa winning the match.

The 27-year-old has only just returned to action after a spell on the sidelines with a broken ankle.

The Ivory Coast international forward’s comment about his body feeling good should also be encouraging for the fans.

Kodjia is one of the best forwards in the Championship, and his goals will be important in Steve Bruce’s side challenging for a top-two finish.

The forward has been on the books of Villa since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Bristol City for an initial transfer fee reported by ESPN to be worth £11 million.
