Aston Villa forward Jonathan Kodjia has told The Birmingham Mail that he has been impressed by two of his teammates.
Kodjia joined Villa from Championship rivals Bristol City in the summer transfer window.
According to The Guardian, the Villans had to pay a transfer fee of £11 million, which could rise to £15m, in order to secure the services of the 26-year-old forward.
The Ivory Coast international has named two Villa teammates who are very good. Strikers Rudy Gestede and Ross McCormack have impressed Kodjia.
“Rudy (Gestede) and Ross (McCormack) are good players,” Kodjia told The Birmingham Mail. “Ross scored almost 25 goals last season so he is a good player.”
McCormack is one of the best strikers in the Championship and is a key member of the current Villa team.
The Scotland international has scored two goals and created 27 chances in seven Championship appearances for the Villans so far this season.
Gestede has scored three goals and created six chances in six league matches for Villa so far this campaign.
Kodjia has scored one goal and created two chances in two Championship matches for Roberto Di Matteo’s side so far this season.
Villa are 17th in the Championship table at the moment with seven points from as many matches.
