Jonathan Afolabi netted his first goal for the Celtic youngsters on Tuesday.

Jonathan Afolabi has expressed his delight at getting off the mark in Celtic colours after he netted for the academy side on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old forward made the switch to Parkhead earlier on this summer when he moved from Premier League side Southampton.
On Tuesday he struck his first goal for the Hoops when they beat Morton 4-2 in the Reserve Cup – Armstrong Oko-Flex, Cameron Harper and the returning Karamoko Dembele also found the back of the net.
After that game, Afolabi posted this message to the Parkhead faithful on his personal Instagram account:
A lot is expected of Afolabi, who will be looking to add more goals to his name in the younger age groups, so he can then push himself into the senior setup.
There could be the possibility that the highly-rated Irishman may feature for Neil Lennon’s side this season, but he does have a plethora of young talent to choose from.
Towards the back end of last season, Celtic supporters saw the much-talked-about youngster Karamoko Dembele shine when he was given his first opportunity by the club.
Lennon handed Dembele his senior debut against Hearts, and whilst he still has a long way to go, he did impress with his direct attacking display.
Celtic have made a strong start to the season and it’s good news for Lennon that if he does need to call upon some attacking talent then he does have the likes of Afolabi and Dembele in his ranks.
