The West Bromwich Albion defender looks like moving on next summer.
West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson has been speaking to HD.se about his future at The Hawthorns.
The 33-year-old started the campaign in the Baggies’ starting line-up but after two 90-minute outings – against Crystal Palace and Everton – he fell down the pecking order and has only managed two league appearances since.

With his contract expiring next summer it would be no surprise to see Olsson move on, and he has confirmed that this is likely to be his last Premier League campaign.
“This is a big chance that this is my last year in England,” the West Brom player told HD.se.
“I’ve always had a weakness for Italian football. I’d love to take a year there.”
Olsson’s future remains unclear, but given the defensive options now available at West Brom it is unlikely their manager Tony Pulis will offer the Swede a new deal late on.

Whatever happens he will be fondly remembered by the Baggies fans who have seen him rack up 257 appearances for the club, in which time he has scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists.
While West Brom’s current starting XI is ensuring Olsson is stuck on the bench, he will be granted a rapturous farewell when he does finally step on to The Hawthorns pitch for the last time.
