Jonas Lossl is joining Everton after leaving Huddersfield Town.

Jonas Lossl has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the prospect of joining Everton after leaving Huddersfield Town.

Lossl will move to Everton on a free transfer this summer after leaving Huddersfield, who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated to the Premier League.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Huddersfield from German club Mainz.

The Denmark international goalkeeper made his loan deal at the Terriers permanent in the summer of 2018.

According to WhoScored, Lossl made 30 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the Dane played in all of the 38 Premier League matches for Huddersfield, according to WhoScored

Lossl is unlikely to be the first-choice goalkeeper at Everton and will have to play second fiddle to England international Jordan Pickford.

The goalkeeper is pleased to have joined Everton and has expressed his delight on Twitter, and some fans of the Merseyside club have responded to his message.
