Jon Toral has made 12 appearances for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers since signing from Arsenal.
Jon Toral has told the Daily Record that he hopes to play for Glasgow Rangers again.
Toral has joined Rangers on loan from Arsenal, but injury has halted his progress.
The midfielder admits that he is unsure how long he will be sidelined for.
But Toral insists that he is hopeful of being able to play for Rangers again.
“We don’t know exactly how long I’ll be out for, it’s bruising so it should settle down with time but being on the ribs it needs a bit of time,” he said. “It is not easy to treat but the physios are doing their best.
“I hope I will play for Rangers again, that shouldn’t be a problem. I will do my best to make it for this weekend but I’ll have to wait and see how the injury progresses this week and see day by day where I am.”
Toral has played 12 matches for Rangers during his loan spell with the Glasgow outfit.
The Spaniard is likely to come straight back into Rangers’ first-team, when he does return to full fitness.
Toral’s absence has been keenly felt during his time on the sidelines, with Rangers losing their last two matches against Celtic.
The Ibrox side are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Partick.
