New Rangers signing Jon Flanagan has stated he feels the Gers are every bit as big as Liverpool.
Flanagan clinched his move to Ibrox yesterday following his release from Liverpool.

The full-back joins former Liverpool teammate Steven Gerrard, who took over as Rangers manager officially earlier this month.
Flanagan believes the Scottish giants as just as big a club as Liverpool despite their recent struggles on the pitch, where they lag behind bitter rivals Celtic.
Flanagan told The Mail: “I always watched Scottish football on Sky. I was always aware of it and it is a massive league and one that we, as Rangers, are going to try and push on to get the title. We all know Liverpool is a massive club but Rangers are just as big.
“The pressure is as massive at both clubs. I have dealt with that at Liverpool and I’m more than willing to deal with it here at Rangers. I just want to get going and show all the fans what I am about.”
Flanagan’s promise that Rangers will push for the title does not downplay any of the pressure, but there is no escaping it whatever he says.
First place is everything and falling behind Celtic is deemed unacceptable by fans, even if it has become routine, with Brendan Rodgers’ side bidding for their eighth league title in a row.
