Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers are currently flying high in the Premier League.

Joleon Lescott has warned Wolves ‘not to get carried away’ next season regardless of where they finish during this Premier League campaign.
The former centre-back urged Nuno Espirito Santo’s side to make ‘steady’ progress as they currently sit in a Europa League place after 20 league matches.
Wolves were promoted to the top-tier of English football in the summer after winning the Championship title in a comfortable manner ahead of the likes of Fulham, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.
On Saturday, Wolves recorded a memorable 3-1 win against Tottenham at Wembley to end the London clubs six-match winning run in their own backyard.
Former Premier League winner Lescott stated that he has been impressed by his former clubs performances during this campaign, but he did urge them to calm down their expectations for the 2019/20 season.
“They are not just scrapping results, they are playing well and teams know it’s a game, especially the top teams,” Lescott told Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday programme on 30/12/2018 at 10:10 am.
“The key for me next season is not to get carried away and think well we finished 10th, 11th or ninth, whatever it may be and let’s got for Europe. Let’s just progress generally and steady.”
During the first part of the Premier League season, Wolves showcased an impressive record against the top six, beating the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham.

Nuno’s side have won eight out of their 20 league encounters, losing seven and the game finishing in a stalemate on five occasions.
The race for a seventh-placed finish is pretty tight, with four points separating Wolves and 13th-placed Brighton, who beat Everton at the weekend.
The Midlands outfit will host Crystal Palace on Wednesday at Molineux before welcoming Liverpool for an FA Cup Third Round clash five days later.
